Who’s ready for summer?
While I’ve enjoyed my time teaching ELA at a local school, I’m excited for the end of the year. I have big plans for No Greater Love. I’ve been gathering ideas for the sequel’s cover, and hope to begin the graphic design process very soon. Being a trilogy, I’d like to be able to keep the theme cohesive, so as to not confuse readers or retailers.
I’m also making headway with my revisions. On that topic, I will be looking for a few beta readers in the near future to give the current manuscript a once-over before beginning the line and copy edit process. Those interested are welcome to email me at lauraquinnwrites@gmail.com
I made some great memories at the Second Annual #MeettheAuthorBookFestival!
A heartfelt #ThankYou to Samantha Snyder and Trudi Clark at the Free Library of Monroe Township for their hard work and dedication in organizing this amazing event.
It was wonderful connecting with readers old and new, as well as getting to meet fellow authors I’ve followed on #bookstagram IRL, including Laura Lukasavage.
What a small, but wonderful world!! And that’s one of the things I love most about our #bookishcommunity– authors supporting authors. Simple, yet so powerful!
To top it off, I got a surprise visit from my dear friends at Sun Rose Words and Music . I’ve said this before but it bears repeating: I’m so grateful for your encouragement and look forward to continuing to work together!
Save-the-Date friends, because I’m returning to Sun Rose on Thursday, 7/25/24, from 11 am to 1 pm. This is my only summer signing, so don’t miss out!!
Last week, I returned to Barnes & Noble for another memorable signing. This was my fourth time at this particular location, but my first solo endeavor. Considering I sold all but one of their inventory of Thicker Than Water, I’d say it was a success!
What are you most looking forward to this summer? Drop me a comment and let’s chat!
